TrueNorth Community Project
TrueNorth Community Services, a local nonprofit, seeks to partner with communities and promote self-sufficiency through a variety of assistance efforts that reduce hunger, homelessness, and hopelessness. Park of this mission includes mentorship programs, camp outreach, and continual community building. It was my pleasure to capture this mission through an Adirondack chair painting.
This piece was painted with durable acrylic paint and sought to capture the idea of mentorship with two fishermen learning the skill. The natural scene showcased local lilypads, pine trees, and fish native to Michigan. Thank you to TrueNorth for letting me partner in this project.
An official event will present the chair to the public in July 2022.
